Flag presentation

We started our missions conference here at our sending church yesterday. We did our flag presentation and it was great seeing the kids get involved. All the costumes were great!

Here are a few pictures of my kids all dressed up. Eli represented Denmark, Maryanna represented Greenland, and Eryn represented Australia.

Thanksgiving

I have so much to be thankful for. My salvation, my family, my church, my friends,  and the list could go on!

This Thanksgiving we were planning on being in Denmark. But God saw otherwise and we are still here. I'm very thankful that we were able to spend this time with family.

The kids enjoyed a rare sleep over at Mormor's and Pawpaw's house. They had a blast! Marty and I were able to get almost all of our Christmas shopping done. Were had a great time on our date. :)

Nina and Pinta

Monday we were able to go see the replicas of the Nina and the Pinta with a pastor friend and his family. The boats were really neat to see. The history behind the boats is really amazing, I also thought it was neat that Maryanna got to see her history lessons come to life.

Birthdays!

We have has two birthdays since the last time I blogged. Elijah turned 10 on October 17th, and Eryn turned 7 on November 8th.  It hard to believe they are already that old. We had a great time at each of their parties.

Eli had a big party in the park with his friends.

Eryn wanted a nice meal for her birthday. She picked a steakhouse in Little Rock. Mena came along and we all had a great time.
