Paperwork!

Last Tuesday we filed our paperwork. It was busy, but thankfully everything went smoothly.   We had all the paperwork we needed, but we got a call from the embassy in New York saying that we may have filed the wrong paperwork. He told us to call Danish Immigration in Denmark to make sure we did it right, before he sent the paperwork over there.

This is where we filed our paperwork at in Houston.

Mounds of paperwork!

Well, this is the update from Marty! My God can move mountains, can yours?

Dear praying friends,

Thank you so much for praying for me as I spoke with Danish Immigration early this morning. It took me some time, but I was able to get someone on the phone that could help me. I explained to the lady what I wanted to do, she did some checking, I did more explaining, she did more checking, you get the idea. I was asking them something that they don't usually encounter. (^_^)

Finally I was told that I CAN file our paperwork the way it stands, with Victory Baptist Church in Benton, AR being our sending church! I even repeated the statement to her, making sure she understood that I would have a sending/sponsoring church in the USA, and she told me it would be just fine. (^_^) AMEN!

I just have to call the Danish Embassy in NYC and tell them to go ahead and send the paperwork over to DK for approval. (They are closed today, so that will have to happen tomorrow.)

Just to recap, I have approval to file the paperwork with a USA sending/sponsoring church. We still have to wait for the official review and, Lord willing, approval of the paperwork before we can move over. Please keep on praying about this. I do understand that things can still go wrong.

Also please be in prayer for us a house around Aalborg, DK. The one that we were working toward buying looks to have sold. While we were disappointed in this, we want God's will in a house more than we want any particular house.

Thank you for all you have done on our behalf. May God continue to bless and use you!

  1. Praise The Lord that the first hurdle has been passed. Praying you'll have visas in hand in no time! Oh yea and for that house.
